What do you stock?
I sell mostly dresses and love 1970s, think ditsy floral prints, soft colours and romantic silhouettes.
What are the prices?
Dresses range from £120-£400
What sizes do you have?
Most dresses are UK 6-12. It is hard to size some vintage as charts have changed, and much of it is handmade. I will often suggest getting a dress altered to fit perfectly and have specialist tailors who I can recommend.
What happens during an appointment?
Appointments are relaxed and informal with drinks and music. You have an hour to go through the rails and try as much as you like. If you are looking for something in particular I can help pull out pieces for you to try. I am honest and won’t push you into a bad purchase, I really believe in slow shopping and finding something that is right.
Can I bring a friend to the studio?
Friends are very welcome! Also babies/children/dogs.
Do you need any information beforehand?
It helps if you let me know if you are looking for something really specific, in case I don’t have it.
Do you do bridal?
I no longer stock bridal.
Do you do bridesmaids?
As all of my dresses are vintage, I don’t have matching, however I stock prints, colours and styles that can compliment each other. If you have something in mind just message before booking.
How can I pay?
I accept payment via card or cash.
Do you do returns?
Unfortunately I am unable to offer returns /exchanges on vintage.
Where is the studio?
Canonbury Yard is located between Hoxton and Islington. 190 New North Rd, N1 7BJ
Is there parking?
There is no parking for visitors at Canonbury Yard but if you need to drive, let me know and I will do my best to arrange a space.
Is it accessible?
I am sorry to say that there is no lift in my building, the studio is up one flight of stairs.
Can I cancel?
You can cancel your appointment but please give me as much notice as possible so that your slot can be offered to someone else. A late cancellation fee of £25 will be charged if you cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours before your appointment.
